"The Verminator" 1961 Falcon GASSER, was originally built and raced by Dan Roman ( IHRA Absolute Pleasure Altered ) from Meriden, CT from 68-73, his High School car!!! Ran mostly at Connecticut Dragway with FE power 428/C6, then 427 side oiler, 4 speed, Hillborns Narrowed Econoline Straight Axle, 59 Ford 9"Rear. Best time: 10.80 @ 122 mph. He sold the rolling shell in '75.....For the next 20 years it served as a storage bin, a parts donor, and a rust magnet.....1995: I bought a rotten shell that resembled a turkey after thanksgiving. After a year and a half of dedicated love, labor and $$$$, Sept '96 I took my first passes at Leb Valley in a REAL race car!!! Ran with E.S.T.A. til the club disbanded, along with other former ESTA members and local racers, I am proud to be one of the original NETO members.

Was stock 460 powered- blown up, 466 powered -blown up, 500 powered -blown up, Currently 500ci...Had C6 trans -blown up tooooo many times, Now Dynamic C-4 Mighty Mite trans. Car ran consistent 10.90's til the '09 season, when we've managed to really break loose, ending with 10.40 @ 125.01mph.
